Lost in Space... how to make search engines work for you...

Ever been frustrated trying to find information using Google or other search engines? Our friends round the corner at James Cook University have developed a fantastic online tutorial designed to show you how to make search engines work for you... The Lost In Space tutorial is a series of seven modules including

Module 1 - Starting a Search
Module 2 - Features you may have missed
Module 3 - Some search tricks
Module 4 - Going further in your search
Module 5 - Advanced search techniques

Each module takes around 10-15 minutes to complete and an online How-To & Help guide is available at all times to guide you through. If you've ever been overwhelmed by information avalanche (you know, 27 billion results...) or you simply cannot find what you're looking for and you've given up, give Lost in Space a go... you'll never get lost in cyberspace again!
